meet the money mentor
From Financial Confusion to Fiscal Clarity
As a young person, Corben Wilson struggled to understand how money actually worked. After graduating with a 1.99 GPA, he entered the real world and began earning a low GPA in his finances, too, and this time, GPA stood for exactly how he handled money: Get paid. Proceed to spend. Ask questions later.
Like most people, he copied what he saw: paycheck to paycheck, credit cards, chasing a bigger income to fix a problem income could not fix.
Everything changed when he learned that winning with money isn’t about how much you make. It's about the system you run it through.
In 2018, Corben and his wife were $70,000 in debt. Using the same principles he now teaches, they paid it off in 14 months on an average income. He went on to earn his Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification and now coaches adults through debt, budgeting, and retirement every signle day.
Which is exactly why he teaches teenagers. He spends his days cleaning up problems that a 40-minute workshop at sixteen would have prevented.
